What's the overall size of the space you have now?
10k square foot

What drove your business to make this expansion/move?
Continued expansion and growth of business and clients, which resulted in hiring more employees caused us to find a larger building to meet our needs.

What was your favorite part of the working together process?
Working with the design consultant on designing the layout of the office as well as seeing our thoughts and ideas come to life during the installation. The design team walked us through the selection process, which made it easier to determine what exactly we wanted in our office to maximize space and usability. After the design was completed, the gen2 Office installers, were great to work with. They worked quickly to get everything set up and made sure that all products delivered were not damaged. Any problems or questions that I had during installation were quickly answered as well as remedied.

What has been the favorite parts/functions of your new workspace?
The cubicles that we picked out really worked well within our space well and allows for privacy but yet information sharing amongst employees.

Would you recommend gen2?
Yes, I would and have recommended gen2 Office to other people that I know who are building out office spaces. What I usually tell people who are considering gen2 Office products is to research a design that you think may work in your office and be open and honest with the design team because they have many different solutions to meet the needs of their clients.

That plastic bottle you tossed into the recycling bin yesterday could end up in the chair you’ll be sitting in tomorrow! Well, perhaps not quite that fast, but eventually. It may seem hard to believe, like many a well-spun yarn (story), but in the textile industry, it’s actually true. That’s because the basic component in the textile manufacturing industry—fiber—can be either natural or synthetic. A fiber is a substance that’s significantly longer than it is wide. Natural fibers (known as staple fibers) develop or occur in the fiber shape and come from animal, vegetable and mineral sources, such as wool, silk, cotton and linen. Then there are synthetic, or man-made, fibers (known as filament fibers), which are cellulosic, thermoplastic and mineral in nature. Their chemical composition is significantly modified during the manufacturing process, and they are used to produce rayon, polyester, nylon and fiberglass. This is not the type of fiber your doctor tells you to eat for good health, but it definitely supports a healthy textile industry! Is one type of fiber better than the other?
